Everyone’s dreaming of a November Christmas
Audiences prove that they’re ready to get into the Christmas spirit as Robert Zemeckis’ latest animated film “A Christmas Carol” took the top spot in this weekend’s box office. The Walt Disney Pictures feature took in $31 Million, a little bit surprising since a majority of people are still trying to ease their way out of the Halloween spirit and into the holiday season. “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” managed to hold up well in it’s second week, making $14 Million along with the new release of the George Clooney starring comedic film “The Men Who Stare at Goats” taking $13.3 Million. The Milla Jovovich starring film “The Fourth Kind” did not put up any sort of big numbers that was expected from a film along the same vein of “Paranormal Activity” as it accumulates $12.5 Million it’s first weekend.
